In this automated conveyor project, carton blank stacks weighing 7–10 kg are produced at a rate of 6 stacks per minute from a cutting system located behind a fire protection wall. The downstream stack magazines however, can only process 4 stacks per minute.
Without the right system in place, this difference quickly becomes a bottleneck.
The solution was an automated conveyor and buffer line designed to:
📌 transport stacks through a fire protection flap
📌 buffer material to balance cycle times
📌 align stacks precisely before transfer
📌 maintain safe and ergonomic access for employees
Using a RBM-P 2255 roller conveyor with Poly-V drive, a KGF-P 2040.02 curved belt conveyor, and integrated alignment and pusher units, the system ensures a continuous, reliable material flow while meeting all spatial and safety requirements.
